Learning Targets:

1. Students will be able to find, show, and maintain a steady beat while listening to a piece of music. 

2. Students will be able to identify verse and refrain.

3. Students will sing songs from memory.

4. Students will perform a ribbon dance to show the different parts of a piece of music (steady beat, high and low sounds, loud and soft, etc.) 

5. Students will do a ribbon exercise where they will demonstrate different ribbons movements and levels while listening to a piece of music. 

6. Students will sing using their singing voices.

7. Students will match pitch.

5. Students will sing a song in French. 

6. Students will learn about each of the countries we are learning music from in class and be able to identify key facts from each place. 

7. Students will move to show what they hear in the music.
